Prayers have been answered !!. Sons of mollywood actors 'Mammootty' & 'Mohanlal' - 'Dulquer Salman' & 'Pranav Mohanlal' are joining together for a 'Priyadarshan' Film. The untitled Crime-Thriller set up by 'Priyadarshan' will be based around Mumbai. Actor 'Mohanlal' will be playing the role of father of 'Dulquer Salman' in the film according to sources.
The film which is expected to roll in 2013 is one of the most anticipated releases for next year. The films also marks the return of 'Mohanlal's' son - 'Pranav Mohanlal' onscreen after his previous appearance in 'Amal Neerad's' - 'Sagar Alias Jacky' in the year 2009.More details are yet to be reveled. Anyway things are happening pretty fast in M-Town in the blink of an eye.

 International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2012 Awards


Gurvinder Singh’s Punjabi film ‘Anhey Ghorhey Da Daan’ bagged Golden Peacock for the best film and a cash prize of Rs. 4 million (USD 73600) at the 43rd International Film Festival of India (IFFI) 2012.
Kyu-hwan Jeon 

Best Director’s award went to Kyu-hwan Jeon for his film ‘The Weight’. He got Silver Peacock, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 million (USD 27600).
The IFFI this year celebrated the centenary year of Indian Cinema by bestowing the ‘Centenary Film Award’ to Mira Nair’s ‘The Reluctant Fundamentalist’. This film was selected by a special jury panel. The award carries Silver Peacock, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1 million (USD 18000).
 Marcin Dorocinski 
Best Actor (Male) award went to Marcin Dorocinski for his remarkable performance in Polish-Russian-German movie ‘Rose’. The award carries Silver Peacock, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1 million (USD 18400).
Anjali Patil
Anjali Patil’s performance in Prasanna Vithanage’s Sinhala-Tamil movie ‘With You, Without You’ won her the Best Actor (Female) award. It carries Silver Peacock, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1 million (USD 18400)
Special Jury Award went to Lucy Mulloy for her Spanish movie ‘Una Noche’. She got Silver Peacock, Certificate and a cash prize of Rs. 1.5 million (USD 27600).

Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is an upcoming Bollywood film produced and directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra; starring Farhan Akhtar and Sonam Kapoor. Milkha Singh has sold the story for just one rupee.The remuneration from movie will be used for the benefit of needy athletes.
The name of the movie comes from the last words spoken by his father, which was to save his life from the riots during partition of India. During the partition, Milkha lost his family members. The story talks about his perseverance as an athlete and also as a courageous human spirit.

One of India's biggest Fiesta,the International Film festival of kerala will be inaugurated by one of its own Malayalam superstar  actor Mohanlal.
Mohanlal has been associated with the event throughout the years.Last year he released a book on the life of Veteran actor Madhu titled-A Darling lover of Silver Screen.
International Film festival of kerala (IFFK) was one of the chief events of the academy. In fact Government has started IFFK in a modest way from 1994 onwards. Under the academy the event has emerged as one of the important film festivals of the world.IFFK has a competition section for films from the Asian,African and Latin american films. The non competition films includes inter alia contemporary world cinema and films of great film makers.

After the movie 'Race, which had a rather poor run in the Box Office, Mamtha Mohandas will join Indrajith once again for the movie titled as 'Paisa Paisa' .

 To be directed by debutante Prashanth Mrurali., an erstwhile assistant to V K Prakash, the scripts for the flick will be jointly penned by the director and Rajesh Varma. Aju Varghese, Kathal Sandhya , 
Daniel Balaji, Risabava, Sasi Kalinga, Sunil Sugatha, Jojo, Anoop Chandran, Aparna Nair,and Apoorva will also feature in the cast lines of this movie which will be produced by 'Raj Zacharias in the banner of Celebs and Red Carpet'.

 Titled 'Ladies and Gentleman', Siddhique has almost completed the story discussions with Lal this week and will be finalizing the script soon. There will be four heroines for Mohanlal in this movie,Padmapriya,Meera jasmin,Mamta Mohandas and Mitra Kurian.

 Produced by Antony Perumbavoor in the banner of Aashirwad cinemas, Siddhique who is gradually working on his second Hindi project after the big hit 'Bodyguard' will kick start the shoot for this movie only by the opening months of next year.
