Theevram (Malayalam: തീവ്രം, Extreme) is an upcoming Malayalam crime thriller film written and directed by Roopesh Peethambaran, starring Dulquer Salmaan, Shikha Nair, Sreenivasan, Riya Saira, Anu Mohan and Vishnu Raghav. The film is produced by V.C Ismayil under the banner of VCI Movies and features music composed by debut music composer Roby Abraham, whilst cinematography is handled by Hari Nair and is edited by Kapil Gopalakrishnan. Distribution of the film is done by Lal Jose under the banner of LJ Films.

The film is a dark thriller which will have a socially relevant message and two plots, one set in the present and the other about five years back.It is about the outburst of a young man towards the legal system.

After taking a long break from the Malayalam Film Industry, Roopesh Peethambaran well known for his character as the young Aadu Thoma in the evergreen Mohanlal starrer Spadikam is back and back with a bang. This time he has decided to helm the position of a director and what makes it even more interesting is that he would be joining hands with Dulquer Salman who would be donning the lead role, expectations are high as Dulquer's previous two ventures were superhits and with a perfect script and a heart full of passion, Roopesh Peethambaran has assured that this movie will keep its audience on the edge of their seats.
